The battery door of an In The Ear Hearing Aid should be
opened by lifting gently with a fingernail until fully opened...do not
push the door back. The battery can only be put into the compartment from
one side, the other side is partially closed. Push the raised side of the
battery into the compartment (the side with the plus symbol should
be last to go in). Do not force the battery in !! If dexterity is a
problem a magnetic battery holder can be used, please ask your hearing aid
specialist for one. Gently close the door when the battery is in place, if
it doesn t close easily, check that the battery is fully inserted into
the door.

Battery doors do break eventually !! They are easily replaced by your
hearing aid specialist, if the door breaks with the battery inside the aid
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GET IT OUT !!, you can damage the wiring very
easily and cause a costly repair.
RED markings indicate right hearing
aids, BLUE markings indicate left hearing
aids. Volume controls turn clockwise for on in the right ear and
anti-clockwise for on in the left ear. Always make sure that the
hearing aid is turned off before removing from the ear. If in doubt make
an appointment to see your hearing aid specialist.
